Joint Commission Accreditation is an organization that
standardizes credentialing of doctors. Online Radiology
follows Joint Commission standards for credentialing our
doctors as part of our accreditation with the Joint Commission.
This means that we follow the same standards of background
checks and qualification checks when we hire our doctors
that hospitals do when they add doctors to their medical
staffs. The Joint Commission audits our processes against
their standards so that you can trust our doctors, and so
can the rest of your hospital's medical staff.
We are excited by our Joint Commission Accreditation, says Doctor Alix Vincent, CEO of Online Radiology. Now we can cut out the red tape as we offer our services to more and more hospitals that accept Joint Commission accreditation standards when credentialing their doctors. We go through the strictest qualification and background checks during our hiring process, and we only hire experienced, US based, board certified Radiologists. We know that when you invite our group into your Radiology "family" it helps you to know that we follow these strict processes, and that they are audited regularly by the Joint Commission. After all, the whole point is for you to sleep better at night- well, now you can.
